I got a lot out of my site evaluations on this rotation, and I wonder if part of that is because a lot of the treatment plans yielded immediate tangible or visible results – reinforcing what I had learned, written about, and talked about. Presenting to my site evaluator gave me more practice on presenting cases in general, and his feedback about how cases like ours would be managed at his hospital was very helpful. Similarly, his feedback about how our chosen drugs for our pharmacology cards would or would not be used was also helpful for reinforcing the variability of real-life practice. I enjoyed these site evaluations quite a lot!
